Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month at the Operators’ breast-cancer-imageHealth Center (OHC).

Did you know that breast cancer is the most common cancer among American women (except for skin cancers).  The disease occurs mostly in women, but men can get it too.

Breast cancer is a type of cancer where cells in the breast divide and grow without normal control. The best defense against breast cancer is screening and early detection!
