MinuteClinic is now FREE for Most Services for Active and Retired Members!

The MinuteClinic, at either CVS or Target retail stores, has always been available to our membership to use but the good news is since April 1, 2017, most of these services are free of charge.  The MinuteClinic is an alternative to the Operators’ Health Center and can be used as acute after hours urgent care. If a member does not have a primary care provider, the MinuteClinic will provide information regarding the Operators’ Heath Center to use as the member’s primary patient centered medical home.  Any follow-up care could then be completed at the Operators’ Health Center if the member would like.  The free services offered through the MinuteClinic are similar to those free services covered under your Plan and performed at the Operators’ Health Center.

Items to note:

  • Please be advised, there are some services offered at the MinuteClinic which are considered cash pay services which will require you to pay out of pocket for these services. We recommend that you keep your MinuteClinic receipt and explanation of services received by the MinuteClinic and contact Member Services at (708) 579-6600 to determine if the cash pay service could be covered under your Family Supplemental Benefit, if applicable.

  • Be sure to bring both your medical ID card and your vendor card to your visit at the MinuteClinic.
