Attention All Eligible Active and Retired Members  

Effective January 1, 2019

The Trustees of the Midwest Operating Engineers Welfare Fund have partnered with OptumRx to bring you best in class pharmaceutical services at an extremely competitive price.

By now you should have received your Welcome Kit containing information regarding to this transition:

In addition, you should be receiving, very soon, your updated Vendor Card, which will contain OptumRx’s billing information.  If you do not receive your vendor card by January 10, 2019, please contact Member Services at (708) 579-6600 to request additional cards.  In the meantime, here is an image of the information to present to the pharmacy staff:

If you are interested in learning more about the formulary, click OptumRx’S Select formulary.  Please follow the steps noted below:

  1. Scroll down to “Your prescription drug benefits”
  2. Click on “Prescription drug list”
  3. From the drop down menu, select “2019 Select Formulary”
  4. You can click on one of the three tabs, Drug Name, Therapeutic Class, Status Tier for your search feature
